Experience and approach
My work is informed by existential philosophy and psychotherapy, phenomenology, critical thinking (Marxism, psychoanalysis, feminism, queer theory, post-colonialism) and artistic movements (surrealism, symbolism, dadaism), and the inspiration they provide for understanding everyday life struggles. Furthermore, I have both clinical practice and lived experience of queerness, neurodiversity and immigration.

For the last couple of years, I have enjoyed working as a psychotherapist across a variety of settings including the NHS, the voluntary sector and in private practice, providing both short-term and long-term therapy. I have worked with depression and anxiety as part of Talking Therapies in the NHS; with bereavement and loss in London, with LGBTQIA+ related issues as part of Support U in Reading, and as a general counsellor for young people at No5 in Reading. During this time, I have been fortunate to work with a diversity of clients, including asylum seekers, refugees, students and LGBTQIA+/ GSRD clients, presenting a wide range of issues and difficulties.

Accreditation
I am an accredited member of UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy), and I adhere to and uphold their ethical and practical guidelines. All my work is professionally supervised, and I hold full professional indemnity insurance
